RESOLVED that the Town Council continues to look at how it can improve parking in Stokesley for all and will continue to try and work with NYC to improve the parking options across the Town. The Town Council has and will continue to try and persuade NYC to hand over the Showfield Car Park as this would enable the Town Council to take a holistic approach to the parking issues across Stokesley and ensure that this car park is used more by encouraging business employees to use this facility. A resident asked for action to be taken against the owner of the old landrover parked on West Green car park which has not moved since 2023 and is taking up a valuable parking space? RESOLVED that the Clerk would notify the Police that one of the front tyres is not legal and see if there is anything they can do with regard to that. The Clerk would also try to establish who owns the vehicle with a view to contacting them to seek its removal in the first instance.
