Stokesley Community Events
Stokesley Town Council organises and supports a number of community events throughout the year, bringing residents and visitors together to celebrate everything that makes our town so special. Our annual highlights include:
Summer in the Square
A fantastic free programme of live music performances held in the heart of Stokesley throughout the summer months. A firm favourite with residents and visitors alike, it's the perfect way to enjoy the town's vibrant atmosphere on a warm summer's day.
Stokesley Sparkle
Our much-loved Christmas spectacular that transforms the town centre into a festive wonderland. Meet Father Christmas, marvel at the magical river lantern parade, enjoy the switching on of the Christmas lights and browse the accompanying Christmas market — a perfect way to kick off the festive season for all the family.
Yorkshire Day
Every 1st August, Stokesley celebrates Yorkshire Day in style with a fantastic free afternoon of traditional Yorkshire fun. Enjoy live music, activities for children, and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and neighbours in the heart of our community.

Charity Coffee Mornings
Friday Morning Coffee at the Town Hall
Every Friday morning, Stokesley Town Hall plays host to a popular charity coffee morning, with local organisations bringing along delicious homemade cakes and refreshments in aid of a variety of local charities.
Always well attended and warmly welcomed by the community, these events have become a much-loved weekly fixture in the Stokesley calendar — so much so that the charities return year after year. Whether you're a regular or visiting for the first time, you'll always find a warm welcome, a great cup of coffee, and a slice of something delicious. All funds raised go directly to support worthy local causes.
Coffee mornings are held every Friday in the Jack Brunton Room at Stokesley Town Hall. All welcome.
