Stokesley Community Events
Stokesley Town Council organises and supports a number of community events throughout the year, bringing residents and visitors together to celebrate everything that makes our town so special. Our annual highlights include:
- Summer in the Square – A fantastic free programme of live music performances held in the heart of Stokesley throughout the summer months. A firm favourite with residents and visitors alike, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the town’s vibrant atmosphere on a warm summer’s day.
- Stokesley Sparkle – Our much-loved Christmas spectacular that transforms the town centre into a festive wonderland. Meet Father Christmas, marvel at the magical river lantern parade, enjoy the switching on of the Christmas lights and browse the accompanying Christmas market — a perfect way to kick off the festive season for all the family.
- Yorkshire Day – Every 1st August, Stokesley celebrates Yorkshire Day in style with a fantastic free afternoon of traditional Yorkshire fun. Enjoy live music, activities for children, and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and neighbours in the heart of our community.
