A Meeting of the Town Hall Committee was held in the Town Hall, Stokesley on Monday 15 January 2024 commencing at 10 am

Cllrs Mike Canavan, David Oxley, Audrey Scott and Andy Wake Town Hall Management Advisory Committee Representatives –Mr Martin Sutton, Mr Ken Ridgeway and Mr Mike Westgarth-Taylor.

1/15/01/24 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

RESOLVED that the apologies from Cllrs David Oxley, Mike Canavan, Andy Wake, Michael Westgarth Taylor be received.

2/15/01/24 MINUTES FROM THE MEETING HELD ON 25 SEPTEMBER 2023

RESOLVED that the minutes from the meeting held on 25 September 2023 be agreed as a true and accurate record.

3/15/01/24 FORWARD MAINTENANCE /IMPROVEMENT PLAN

Ken Ridgeway is to refurbish the outside noticeboards when the weather turns warmer. RESOLVED

CGS Heating Ltd have installed and completed all works to the new boilers to a high standard and within the time scale. The woodwork which was removed in The Main Hall for piping to be refitted by Ken Ridgeway and Keith Bellamy. RESOLVED

5/15/01/24 FEEDBACK / MATTERS ARISING FROM THE TRUSTEES MEETINGS

The trustees agreed the quote from Ventrolla windows to open two windows in The Main Hall as a trail to make the room cooler in the hotter months . RESOLVED

Music events and craft fairs continue to be well supported in The Town Hall.
