Planning Applications in Stokesley
Stokesley Town Council receives planning applications from North Yorkshire Council (NYC) for comment each month. Details of all current applications are published on our Current Year’s Planning Applications page, so residents can stay informed about proposed developments in and around Stokesley.
What We Publish
- For each application received, we provide:
- Reference number – the unique number allocated by North Yorkshire Council
- Address – the location the application relates to
Summary – a brief overview of what is being proposed
Want More Detail?
Full documentation for any planning application — including all supporting documents and comments from statutory and other consultees — is available on the North Yorkshire Council website. Simply enter the reference number to access everything related to that specific application.
How to Have Your Say
If you’d like to comment on a planning application, your comments should be submitted directly to North Yorkshire Council, who are the decision-making authority for all planning applications. It is NYC who will ultimately approve or reject each application — the Town Council’s role is to provide comment and represent the interests of the local community, which we do for every application received within the parish.
